The good thing about vacations is...
When I have to get up at 7 to go to work, and I wake up at 3am I:
stay in bed
toss and turn
try to sleep
end up falling asleep around 6
am groggy and slow when it's finally time to get up.


When it's vacation time and I wake up at 3am I:
get up
make tea
surf the internet
read until I'm tired
go back to bed and sleep until I want to get up!

Yay for vacations.

However, today's 7-10:30 morning nap meant I missed the phone call of my friend in England. :(

The college closes down between Christmas and New Years, so we get that week off. My modus operandi for this time is to make a list of all the things I've been wanting to do but haven't had the time / motivation will working and going to school like: repot plant, shred documents, deep cleaning, resume... And then I assign things to days.

Very unexciting, really. Lots of reading - I think I've gone through 6 or 7 books already! Rod is in Wisconsin.

So I could easily be social Sunday or Monday!

coolness. I have an appointment Monday early afternoon, and Joel and I have dinner reservations Sunday night, but other than that I'm open! :-D

Either sounds great! Sunday movie would be with the Joel.
Monday brunch would be just us girls.

Let's go see a movie on Sunday - I was planning on it anyway and it would be nice to have company! Alderwood or Seattle? BM or FS? 1 or 3ish?
